It's hard finding a place to stop at the beach here as most beach access points are privately owned and you have to pay to stop there (one place charge $25 Aussie dollars each!). We travelled down a dual carriage way that was once destined for grand things - roundabouts and palms trees planted along the middle. Had all turned to wrack and ruin though. We then found a dirt road that led us to free access to the beach and as a bonus we discovered a half built abandoned resort. We think we discovered where lost socks go... :-)
